Please be advised that there will be a meeting regarding a proposed Residential Parking Zone for the areas around Hillhouse High School as outlined below and an update on the proposed traffic circle at the intersection of Crescent and Munson Streets. Mr. Michael Piscitelli of New Haven Transportation, Traffic and Parking will be in attendance to answer any questions that you may have.

We are residents of Winthrop ave and strongly oppose the use of residential parking permits. We came from Chicago where these permits are used extensively and they cause much more harm than good. It generally causes great frustration if you want to have visitors and in addition, if neighboring streets have these permits it causes those residents/vistors to park on streets without the permits rather than get permits from the city. We unfortnately missed this meeting, but please take our thoughts into consideration. Thanks!
