Bellevue Road Update

Hi All:

I just want to give a bit of an update as to what is going on with the issues brought up at the meeting last week.

Murder investigation - still ongoing but no closure yet.

192 Goffe - Carl Goldfield - in who's ward the house resides - spoke with the landlord and is working with them to fix the problem. Carl has reported positive interaction and asked to be informed of any charges good or otherwise at that address.

Illegal parking on Bellevue Rd. - Lt. Costin was out in the past week and had patrol ticket a number of cars pared illegally. There were no tows as the owners came out and moved the cars. Lt. Costin believes that the message was sent but would like to know if this becomes an issue again.

I will continue to update you as I get more information.

Yours truly,

Moti

Red Sox are coming to town!

BOSTON RED SOX TO BRING WORLD SERIES TROPHY TO CONNECTICUT ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 11th

The Boston Red Sox today announced that the 2007 World Series trophy will come to Connecticut this Friday, January 11. Red Sox President/CEO Larry Lucchino will lead a group traveling from Fenway Park in order to thank Connecticut fans for their support during the 2007 season.

Public events will be held in New Haven and Hartford; the group will also make a brief stop in Waterbury. The trophy tour was originally scheduled for December 13, 2007. However, due to the winter snowstorm that hit Connecticut on that day, the Red Sox organization wanted their fans to be safe and decided to reschedule the trophy tour to January 11.

The public will have two opportunities to see the 2007 trophy:

10 am-11am at New Haven City Hall (165 Church Street)

And 2:15 pm - 4 pm in Hartford at the State Capitol Building (210 Capitol Avenue).

The trophy will be on display on the first floor in the rotunda of the State Capitol. Limited public parking will be available on the State Capitol grounds, in the Legislative Office Building Garage and at the state lot on the corner of Oak Street and Capitol Avenue in Hartford."We couldn't be happier about bringing the trophy to the ever-increasing number of Connecticut fans who have supported us over the years," said Lucchino. "Connecticut is a cornerstone of Red Sox Nation, and our supporters in Connecticut deserve to see this trophy that they helped bring back to Fenway
